The Seattle Seahawks have found their new quarterback, signing Sam Darnold after his resurgence in 2024. Seattle decided to move on from Geno Smith, and they believe Darnold’s performance last season makes him the perfect fit to lead the team moving forward.
The move comes as a surprise as the team decided to move on from two of there top three receivers in the last 48 hours, making Seattle a little less attractive to a potential signing Quarterback.
Why Darnold would chose Seattle over Pittsburgh is a big question but might have been solved after seeing the contract details.
Darnold signed for 110 million dollars over three seasons, and with the Steelers extending there new WR DK Metcalf to a 5 year 150 million dollar deal, they probably weren’t willing to go that high for Darnold.
Will Darnold see ghost in Seattle?
Or will Darnold finally be the Quarterback he was supposed to be coming out of college.
